MeetingPlanner™ enables organizations in a variety of industries to improve the scheduling of their conference rooms, equipment and other resources.  In the following case study, a large multinational corporation was challenged with an inefficient room and resource scheduling processes.  They looked to EmergingSoft to deploy a robust, efficient and reliable integrated scheduling solution that could be deployed quickly across the entire organization.

Situation
A large multinational corporation was moving their headquarters into a new facility. They required a single solution, integrated with Microsoft Outlook that could handle all room and resource scheduling for the entire enterprise.  In addition, the new solution needed to be deployed quickly within the new headquarters for 6,000 employees. Once installed, the organization required the scalability to support the over 15,000 employees located in multiple offices around the world.

Solution

  • MeetingPlanner was picked to meet the resource and room scheduling requirements.
  • 36,000 users were imported from Active Directory into MeetingPlanner.
  • Created a custom MSI package to work with company's SMS team to install only the required components.
  • Provided a simple interface to allow users to easily book rooms.
  • EmergingSoft Partnered with our European Reseller to provide "follow the sun" support.
  • Provide rapid deployment to meet the scheduling needs with a package that met all the user requirements.
  • Utilized features such as video conferencing, room security, equipment check out, catering and delegate
  • Provide compatibility with their existing plug-ins such as Microsoft LiveMeeting.
