Job Summary:

EmergingSoft’s Software Development staff develops and supports the next-generation scheduling technologies used globally by our world class customers.  Our projects include working with the latest .NET technologies, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Team Foundation Server, SQL and more.  As a Microsoft Gold Partner and growing software publisher, we are seeking an intelligent, intuitive and energetic Software Developer to join our team.

You’ll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to develop a wide range of scheduling applications and modules for our clients. Most of our work is currently done in C# and ASP.NET.  This position will be involved in full life cycle development, requirement collecting, architecture specifications, and hands-on development

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop ASP.net applications using C# and JQuery technologies.
  • Maintain existing software product offering.
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 customer support and troubleshooting service as required.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Has a strong background in C# and .NET.
  • Has experience in the use of an ORM solution such as NHibernate and/or Entity Framework.
  • Emphasizes code quality and design rooted in both industry best practices and original creative solutions and is able to communicate those ideas effectively.
  • Has experience developing ASP.NET web applications using C# and JQuery as well as other types of products such as desktop applications and Windows services.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Microsoft certification a bonus.
